Katherine Dunn started her full time art career in 1996 working as an illustrator in Minneapolis. She worked with a national roster back then including Target, Neiman Marcus, Utne Reader, Charles Schwab, Hallmark, Gourmet, Marshal Fields as well as others.

In 2004 she moved to Portland, and very soon after moved to what is now known as Apifera Farm. As her work and life evolved, she began doing more and more personal work, abstract shows and gallery work.
